How to Design a Home Cinema

Acoustics, projection and speaker placement come before equipment. Here's the process.

A great home cinema starts with the room, not the equipment. We design around the room's dimensions to control acoustics - absorption, diffusion and speaker placement are engineered first.

Next is projection: throw distance, screen gain and ambient light control determine perceived contrast more than raw lumens. In-wall and in-ceiling speakers need back-boxes and correct placement during build.

Finally we calibrate the AV receiver, programme a single remote or automation scene, and integrate with your smart home so a film starts with one touch. A dedicated room performs best, but we can convert a lounge too.
